Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering for Wickenburg Community Hospital is your opportunity to be an integral part of our community. Adult volunteers support the staff in strengthening our commitment to provide quality services to our patients.
Generally volunteers work a four hour shift once a week, Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 12 Noon or 12 Noon to 4:00 pm. Available positions typically include: patient reception services and visitor excort, waiting room attendant, gift shop cashier, and some department clerical support.
Volunteers wear a hospital provided purple vest with your khaki or black pants or skirt and white shirt. Hospital volunteers are required to have an annual TB screen test which is given at no charge. All volunteers are given orientation and training. Call the Human Resources Office to discuss volunteering opportunities at 928-684-4388.
