Wickenburg Community Hospital & Clinics 2019 Annual Recognition Celebration
Here at Wickenburg Community Hospital we understand the importance of team work. We strive to provide the best and know the importance of recognition for those that go above and beyond the call of excellence. This past week we celebrated some of our wonderful staff and volunteers. Congratulations and we thank you for your service to this community as well as our team.
Jim Tavary, CEO – Barb Kenagy, RN 2019 Employee of the Year
Barb Kenagy, Registered Nurse Acute was awarded our 2019 Employee of the Year! Employee of the year is not just about being an “Exemplar” staff. It is a colleague who serves as a role model for consistent servant behaviors, standards, and representing the best of its kind. Barb had continuously demonstrated exemplar behavior in fulfilling WCH Mission and Vision. Barb has worked for the organization for 5 years and has gone above and beyond this past year. She has assisted in the Acute Care Unit, volunteered to manage the scheduling of her fellow employees and is an exemplar example of accountability to her teammates. We celebrate her and are grateful to call her a team member.
Gogi Gay, Volunteer and Training Manager – Carol Dollerd, 2019 Volunteer of the Year
Carol Dollerd was awarded 2019 Volunteer of the Year. Volunteers are an integral part of WCH & Clinics. The impact made by their volunteerism is extraordinary. For 2019 Carol was a “Constant Champion” states, Gogi Gay, Volunteer and Training Manager. “She has no off switch and always finds a way to spread care and compassion to our patients, staff and community. Her passion for the WCH mission and values shines bright, regardless of the tasks she is performing.” For the 2019 year Carol volunteered a total of 342.39 hours of service; volunteering for the front desk, mail room, surgical unit and any special project requested. She is a very special person and we are so lucky to have her on our team.
