As Wickenburg Community Hospital (WCH) strives to continually improve the system of healthcare readily available to the people of Wickenburg and its 3,300 square miles of surrounding communities, the announcement of two crucial leadership changes is more than exciting. Peter Stachowicz and Steve Juhase are tremendous assets to this Rural Healthcare System.

Peter Stachowicz has been serving as the Chief of Ambulatory Services where he oversaw the ancillary areas of the hospital; Medical Imaging, Laboratory, Cardio-Pulmonary and Rehabilitation services. He has now moved into the role of Chief Operations Officer, where he will be providing administrative oversight of the ancillary service areas in the hospital in addition to the primary care and surgical clinics.

Peter Stachowicz has been with WCH for 20+ years providing leadership and management in several key areas. Under his leadership those service lines have shown outstanding growth and the implementation of new programs which have multiplied the ability to better serve this community and its needs. Mr. Stachowicz has been an amazing liaison with patients, providers, and the community. He is extremely patient focused and strives to make sure WCH hospital and clinics are providing the best care possible for all community members. Moving into a role that allows our leadership to level up with a fresh focus on quality and service.

To transform the hospital clinics from good to great, Mr. Stachowicz brought on an experienced Practice Manager for the primary and surgical clinic system. New to the organization is Steve Juhase who has joined the leadership team after serving 17 years as a Clinic Practice Manager in several clinic systems across the country with the most recent being in the Phoenix area. Mr. Juhase’s work ethic centers on putting the patient first and making sure their needs are taken care of in the most timely and seamless manner.  With his many years of experience, Steve Juhase understands what is needed to remove obstacles to healthcare and make access to providers a priority for all.  His approach to clinic management focuses on efficiency and process improvements all the while making sure patients truly come first.

Working together with all the established providers and staff, Peter and Steve are looking forward to a new level of leadership and management of our Rural Health Clinics in Wickenburg, Congress and Wittmann. For any questions, please feel free to reach out to Peter Stachowicz at 928-231-7256.
