With the change of weather we expect beautiful fall colors, cooler temperatures and….cold and flu season. Don’t become a victim to illness this year by taking these preventative measures:
- Get your flu shot. Offered at the Wickenburg Community Clinic, getting your annual flu shot can help keep you and your family healthy through the season. See more about the flu shot here.
- Wash your hands!
- Cover your mouth during coughs and sneezes
- Avoid crowds
- Be sure to eat foods packed full of vitamins and probiotics such as sweet potatoes, grapefruit, beef, garlic, yogurt and salmon.
- Drink plenty of fluids, especially water. Avoid sugary juices.
- Get lots of rest!
