This letter is to commend Dr. Ripley, Head of Surgery, his office personnel, the Surgical Team, and the Wickenburg Community Hospital
On November 19th, 2020, I was scheduled for surgery to remove a cyst on the back right side of my neck that was quite large. Dr. Ripley’s office staff had set things up very efficiently for the surgery after a prior office visit.
On the day of surgery, I reported in as instructed at 6:00 am. I was given a COVID-19 test before surgery which came back negative.I was then taken into the surgical unit, and from that point on I was never left alone. The group on nurses, the anesthesiologist, Dr. Ripley, all were very attentive to my needs and questions and checked with me several times. When I was taken into the surgical room itself, everyone there paid close attention to my proper placement on the gurney, and then seen to it that I was comfortable, and I understood what was to take place.
I was put to sleep; the next waking moment was in recovery with a very understanding nurse at my side. The anesthesiologist, and Dr. Ripley check with me several times to make sure I was okay, and Dr. Ripley informed me that the cyst he removed, was larger than a golf ball. I was amazed that something that size could be contained in my neck. I had put up with the discomfort for over 20 years.
I was extremely pleased with the way all the aspects of my surgery had been very well take care of, a finer group of people could not be found anywhere. Very compassionate, attentive, and concerned with all phases, from beginning to end.

I am so pleased with the outcome, everything has gone so well, and I don’t believe that I will have but a very small scar on my neck, if that. And no more discomfort in my neck!
I will be the first to let other people know of the “superior results” from everyone included in my surgery.
