Hospital detours visitors

Hospital detours visitors 11May

Wickenburg Community Hospital’s Bralliar Road main entrance will close for seven weeks beginning Wednesday, May 25 as part of the surgical and diagnostic center building project.

West-end remodeling is nearing completion and serves as the retrofit of the Diagnostic Imaging Corridor west of the CT Unit.  Phase II west-end remodeling starts Wednesday, May 25 and includes the areas east of the CT Unit extending into the Bralliar Road main entrance.  The entrance will be closed while construction of a new waiting room and registration area are completed.

“It’s essential that patients and their family members experience the same quality services as they did before the surgical center build,” says Jim Tavary, President and CEO.  “We have exceptional employees and they continue to guide customers through the maze of construction while providing excellent care,” he said.

During the Bralliar Road main entrance closure patients and visitors are encouraged to use Rose Lane main entrance to access outpatient services such as diagnostic imaging, laboratory and pharmacy or to visit patients in the Acute Care Unit.

Access to the Rehabilitation and Fitness Centers will remain open with ample parking available however expect restricted access to the main hospital by using the east Community Entrance.  Maps of restricted access and temporary closures are available at Rose Lane Registration and here.

In 2011, WCH Foundation launched a campaign to fund construction of capital improvements on the Wickenburg Community Hospital campus.  Plans include construction of a new medical office building, which is complete, an addition to the hospital to house a new surgical and diagnostic center, and a new fitness center.  Early 2015 the WCH Foundation met its goal of raising $7.5 million allotting WCH to obtain a USDA loan to finance construction as well as refinance other debts.  Donations continue to be accepted at online or by calling Carlotta Soares at 928-668-1812.
