Medical Imaging at Wickenburg Community Hospital (WCH) is proud to have a brand new GE MRI 1.5 Tesla with a wide bore, so more roomier for patient comfort.
The GE MRI 1.5 Tesla resides in a stationary trailer that does not leave the hospital campus, allowing the hospital to offer MRI services Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm. This MRI scanner offers the latest technology available which provides very high quality images for all exams. WCH is now able to perform more specialized exams that were not previously available with the prior equipment. Then new scanner room comes with skylights, headphones or earbuds which offers more patient comfort and helps to ease patient anxiety.
