The structural steel and exterior wall framing are almost complete.
This is a view of the Surgical Wing as seen from the north side of the hospital.
In the next two images, you can see the web of HVAC ductwork, VAV boxes, sprinkler piping, hot water piping, and electrical conduit above the ceiling. This is a view of a hospital few ever see once the building is completed.
The VAV boxes control the comfort heating for the surgical wing. Hot water from the boilers is circulated through the coil in the box, air flows across the coil and is sent through the air duct (not seen here) to the rooms for heating.
A view of what will be the four electrical breaker panels in the Surgical Wing. Look at all that conduit!
A view inside the new Surgical Wing electrical room, showing the new emergency power generator switch gear.
Medical Office Building (MOB)
The new MOB (Medical Office Building) continues to move toward completion. A view of the lobby/waiting area with mill-work being installed.
Existing Hospital East-end Renovations
Work on the East-end renovation project is complete except for some punch-list items. We expect to pass health department inspection accordingly and then we will once again be able to enjoy the wonderful convenience of in-house vending with dining in the new cafeteria area.
