The QWickCare Urgent Care is being designed by WCH to offer maximum healthcare benefits to Wickenburg and its surrounding communities. QWickCare will be structured, staffed and equipped for optimal efficiency and patient flow. Patients can expect a complete clinical evaluation, from pediatric to geriatric, by a licensed and emergency trained advanced practitioner. Onsite diagnostic testing such as routine labs & X-rays, will be available. If treatment calls for antibiotics or other routine medications, patients can obtain pre-packaged pharmaceuticals upon discharge. QWick care will not take away from the Quality of care.
Patients can also expect affordable rates of service and shorter wait times. Historically, the only option for urgent care in this community has been to utilize the Emergency Room. In the majority of cases urgent care visits are offered at rates that are more affordable than Emergency Room visits. With urgent care, patients do not have to wait for the high trauma cases to be treated ahead of them extending wait times, which is more common during an Emergency Room visit. Affordability and speed of care increases convenience to each patient.
For added convenience, doors to QWickCare will open to the community beginning at 9:00am and extending until 9:00pm allowing working families access to an advanced practitioner after standard business hours. For individuals with hectic schedules, or those requiring immediate care with conditions such as, fractures, minor sprains and cuts or other injuries, can be treated at the QWickCare Urgent Care. These hours will extend through the Saturday and Sunday filling the gap in access to healthcare on weekends. Appointments are not required, allowing patients to visit an advanced practitioner when it is most convenient for the patient. Telehealth Visits will be made available for those who prefer a virtual visit, removing barriers to care such as transportation concerns, childcare and mobility challenges.
This will be a quality, local and convenient healthcare choice when illness or injury strikes outside of normal physician clinic hours and your needs for a medical practitioner is urgent, but does not warrant an Emergency Room visit. QWickCare Urgent Care will provide convenience, affordable fees, and comprehensive care.
