Good Afternoon WCH Team
I want to thank all of you for your great professional care of me 2 weeks ago. I thank the clinic staff for taking care of me on short notice to see Dr. Kravetz within 30 minutes of calling after 4PM. Thank you Dr Kravetz for walking me to the ED, I was in denial and should have taken the wheelchair offer. Thanks to the fantastic ED staff and Dr Chintz to recognize my health issue immediately. What can I say but I am a knucklehead when it comes to my own health, I should have come in on Monday and not wait as I did. I learned my lesson and will do better if I have another one. Thanks to the staff of other departments as you responded quickly to my health needs. My only disappointment was that I didn’t get a helicopter ride, but ambulance ride was ok because it was a new one. To the ED team who took personal care of me and you know who you are thank you for dealing with my humor and thank you for the morphine and nitroglycerin, we do have great drugs here don’t we.
I received two beautiful heart stents at Del Web the next day. Was cardiac ICU for two days and came home Thursday night. I am doing great and very glad to be back in the saddle again.
Everyone knows the importance of HIPPA. Our WCH Team did an absolutely FANTASTIC job in keeping this under wraps and following the rules. From the clinic to the ED department to my pharmacy team members, and all other departments involved. I wanted to get this out as many team members did not know and I assumed wrongly that it got around the “rumor mill”. So now I give you all permission to talk about me again, like before.
I know GOD gave me a second chance, I am still trying to wrap my arms around that and know what He wants me to do with it. I believe He will let me know sooner than later..
