Wickenburg, AZ, December 4th, 2020 – Wickenburg Community Hospital & Clinics (WCH) Announces Interim President & Chief Executive Officer.

Jackie Lundblad, WCH Chief Financial Officer has been appointed Interim President and Chief Executive Officer by Hospital Board Chairman Dee Pollock.  “Jackie has worked off and on with WCH for 10 years as a consultant and accepted the Chief Financial Officer role over three and a half years ago.  Her qualifications are extraordinary,” said Pollock.  “Jackie’s exemplary record in leading organizational change is a true benefit to our patients, their families, and our community.  The Board of Directors has every confidence that Jackie will fulfill her duties beyond our expectations”.

Lundblad obtained her bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and went on to obtain her master’s in healthcare administration from Duke University. “I truly enjoy healthcare, and as such, I have spent more than 30 years working in many different facets of the industry.” Lundblad further describes her experience, “I have been a consultant for more than half of my career, which has provided great insight into healthcare operations, financial management, operational improvement, and strategic planning. I worked for Arthur Andersen as the Principal in Charge of the Healthcare Practice in Arizona and New Mexico. I have also been a senior Healthcare Executive for Sun Health Corporation and the A.I. DuPont Institute for Children.”

The announcement came after the resignation of Jim Tavary.  “After almost 5 decades in health care administration, it’s time to take a respite and to focus on family,” Tavary explained.

Lundblad officially started her new duties Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
