Thursday, March 3, 2016 Wickenburg Community Hospital Employees gathered for an Annual Appreciation luncheon celebration. Hosted by President and CEO Jim Tavary and Hospital Board Chairman Dee Pollock, many were recognized for exceptional performance during 2015.
“We at Wickenburg Community Hospital are so fortunate to work among such quality individuals. We are committed to continue our support of those who work intentionally to provide world-class health and wellness services where the patient, family, and community come first,” said Tavary.
The CEO Award of Excellence in special appreciation was awarded to Kelly Fasano, Shannon Nelson, Linda Kubler, Meg Allred, Sharon Pettit, Leeann Campbell, RN, Celina Cox, Lianne Hall, Melissa Anderson, DPT, Marisa Steadman, DPT, Natalie Turnage, DPT, Ron Porter, OT, Kristen Rodriquez, Rosa Jimenez, Christy Layton, and Lisa Smith.
Provider of the Year whose dedication, compassion, professional behavior, special skill, community involvement, continued education, mentorship, and participation in company decision making was awarded to Lea Way, FNP-C.
Community Service Award whose contribution to the growth of our local community, high quality service, and demonstrated commitment to community support and involvement was awarded to Peter Como representing Life Line Ambulance.
Volunteer of the Year was awarded to Ray McMullen who retired after a 27 year career from Dorney Park in Allentown, PA as the landscape foreman, who donated 386 volunteer hours at the hospital.
The honorable Eagle Award for outstanding leadership and best in standards, principles, core values, mission, and vision was awarded to Tammy Olk, RN Emergency Room Supervisor.
The Employee of the Year, whose teamwork, customer service, achievement, and performance was recognized and voted on by her peers, was awarded to Imelda Lord, Admitting Representative.
