Ways To Give

With your help we can make a difference in our community and for our friends and family.  Your philanthropic support will help:

Where the Need is Greatest

WCH Foundation assists the Hospital with financial support necessary to meet the health care needs of residents and visitors to the area.  Our mission is to generate ongoing philanthropic support to fund vitally important health care facilities, equipment, and wellness services.  As the Hospital leads to advance a comprehensive health care system, charitable contributions help fund many important capital initiatives:

  • Information Technology Integration
  • TeleHealth Expansion
  • Rehabilitation Services Expansion
  • Pain Management Program Expansion
  • Satellite Clinic Implementation
  • Equipment Revitalization
  • Community Health and Wellness Education

Emergency Department Renovation

By renovating the current emergency department, patients, community members, and area visitors will benefit by enhanced functionality, privacy and security.  This vital need is driven by significant increases in the number of medical emergencies.

  • 5,968 emergency patients in 2015
  • 6,620 emergency patients in 2016
  • 6,950 emergency patients in 2017
  • 7,083 emergency patients in 2018

The project is designed to renovate approximately 4,000 SF of existing clinical space in the emergency department and approximately 2,000 SF of adjacent non-clinical space in the hospital to add a new emergency department walk-in entrance, registration area, and triage area.

Dr. Firth Rural Medicine Scholarship

William J. Firth III, M.D. was a kind and compassionate physician who was committed to providing his patients with the best care possible.  He dedicated himself to the services of others.  By giving to the Dr. Firth Rural Medicine Scholarship Fund, you support graduating Wickenburg High School seniors who plan to pursue education in rural medicine.

Wickenburg Community Hospital Scholarship

By giving to the Wickenburg Community Hospital Scholarship Fund, you support graduating high school seniors, hospital and clinic employees pursuing higher education in Rural Medicine.

Rural American populations face significant health disparities when compared to urban populations. The National Rural Health Association (NHRA) found that several factors work in tandem to create such conditions. These include lower access to physicians, higher incidence of disease and disability, longer distance to the nearest healthcare facility, lower average household income, and higher levels of tobacco use.

Pink Ribbon Angels | Free Mammogram & Biopsy Program

Pink Ribbon Angels provide assistance to qualified rural residents to cover uninsured or under-insured expenses associated with the diagnosis of breast cancer.
