Amie Boucher, FNP-C

I am a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner new to the Wickenburg Community Hospital Clinic but not new to the community.  I have worked for Hospice of the Valley in and around the Wickenburg area for the last several years as an RN case manager, Community Liaison, and Primary Care NP.  I began my career as a Caregiver for developmentally-disabled adults which quickly led to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant in Oregon.  Since that time, I have accumulated more than 15 years of nursing experience and education in a variety of areas of patient care to include: Family practice, Eating Disorders, Hospice and Palliative Care, Geriatrics, Assisted Living/Skilled Nursing Facilities, Med/Surg, ICU, and Behavioral Health.  I completed both my Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Nursing with Chamberlain University.  My clinical rounds were completed at WCH clinics with several of the providers.  I am nationally certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and licensed by the state of Arizona to provide patient-centered healthcare to patients of all ages.

I am truly devoted to serving rural populations here in Arizona and have a keen interest in population health, health promotion, preventative care, and patient advocacy.  I chose to join the WCH clinic provider team to utilize my knowledge and skills to improve outcomes for the entire community.  I seek to develop long-lasting and trusting relationships with patients by taking time to listen and understand each patient comprehensively.

On a personal note, I am married to the best husband. We have three amazing children and an adorable dog.  As a family, we enjoy the outdoors, being physically active, listening/playing music, cooking/baking, crafts, sewing, making costumes, and any chance to be creative!
