A twenty-year resident of Arizona, Dr. Bejerano is board-certified through the American College of Osteopathic Physicians. Graduating undergrad from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s in Molecular and Cellular Biology, she went on to obtain her Medical Degree and a Masters in Biomedical Science at Midwestern University. Dr. Bejerano completed her post-doctorate training at Kingman Regional Medical Center where she was chief resident in 2019.
In addition to her medical training, Dr. Bejerano has also received the Public Health Service (USPHS) Excellence in Public Health Award in recognition of her commitment and work to advance public health in communities and for exemplifying the Public Health Service’s mission to protect, promote and advance the health and safety of our nation. and the Kenneth A Suarez Research Fellowship for her research in “The Role of Caveolae in Deregulation of Insulin Signaling during Obesity”.
Outside of medicine, she is no stranger to the workforce and has held positions such as Dermatology Clinical Study Supervisor and Financial Analyst. In her spare time, she enjoys home renovation projects, community service, raising her dogs, and is an amateur cook.
