Dustin Turnbull, PT, DPT

I have always enjoyed working with people, and after 13 years in sales and customer service, I decided that I wanted to do more to truly help people.  This decision came at a time in my life when I was making positive health and lifestyle changes for myself, and realized I wanted to help others do the same.  While researching career fields that help to improve physical health, I happened upon physical therapy. After researching what a physical therapist does, I was “sold”.  I attained my bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance at Montana State University – Billings.  I then went on to attain my doctoral degree in Physical Therapy at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ.

Wickenburg Community Hospital was brought to my attention by a mentor in my PT department who thought it would be a perfect fit for my interests, and she couldn’t have been more right.  I have fallen in love with the hospital, the community, and the town as a whole.  My wife and I relocated from the valley in order to be more involved with the community and we have not looked back since.  Being a part of this community has reinforced my desire to do my very best for all of the residents that I get to interact with on a daily basis.

From a professional standpoint, I am a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy in the state of Arizona and I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.  My professional interests include Orthopedics, Sports Rehab (specifically golf – I am currently working on attaining the Titleist Performance Institute Certification), Geriatrics, and both Acute and Outpatient Rehabilitation.

My personal interests include motorcycling, music, reading, golf, and travel.  I am a member of the Sons of the American Legion and the American Legion Riders, and enjoy giving back to the community through these organizations.
