Visitor’s Guidelines

Wickenburg Community Hospital (WCH) welcomes you to visit loved ones who are in our care. Below are guidelines to help your visit be successful:

  • Visiting Hours – For the Acute Care floor, hours are from 6AM to 10PM daily.
  • Access – Please use the Emergency Department Walk-In Entrance if arriving after 8PM as all other doors will be locked after that time.
  • Privacy – Please be mindful of patient privacy and avoid using your camera, or other recording devices while in the patient care areas.
  • Noise Level – To support quality rest for all patients, we ask for your help in keeping a quite and respectful environment.
  • Age Limit – Visitors must be 12 years of age or older, and all visitors 12-18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Pets – WCH does not permit pets in the hospital or campus buildings, with the exception of bona-fide service animals and a pet that has been approved by WCH through the Animal Assisted Therapy Program.

It is the desire of WCH to ensure that our visitation hours and practices honor the patient’s right to access key individuals in his or her life. WCH recognizes the importance of family and social presence to the emotional and psychosocial well being of a patient and will make reasonable attempts to accommodate special requests if visitations cannot be made inside our guidelines. If a unique situation arises for your loved one, please contact the nurses station to discuss other options.

WCH appreciates visitors respect for all our patients, staff, and other visitors. Visitation may be expanded or limited based on the discretion of Administration, Infection Prevention, Physicians, and/or the Unit Charge RN.

Please realize employees per privacy regulations are unable to release information over the phone or in person without the consent of the patient; therefore, please identify a family member to be a spokesperson, point of contact who has the consent from the patient to release information to so that spokesperson can share information with further family members.
