Participation in Mass Casualty Exercise
WICKENBURG, AZ (April 2nd, 2024) – On Friday morning, April 5, 2024, Wickenburg Community Hospital, along with the town’s emergency management personnel will be conducting a mass casualty exercise at Wickenburg High School. This event will involve our community partners including the Fire Department, Police Department, AirEvac, American Medical Response (AMR), Priority Ambulance, and Wickenburg Unified School District.
The purpose of this exercise is to view our response plans in action and look for areas of improvement. You may notice an increase of emergency vehicles and helicopters in the areas of the high school and the hospital. All emergency entities will remain fully functional to serve the needs of our community during this exercise.
